Returns and Exchanges can be tricky – and we always strive to give you the best products and avoid the hassle of returns or exchanges.

CONDITIONS FOR RETURNING A PRODUCT

If a customer wishes to return it, they will have to bear the cost of shipping the product back to RangVarsha along with 5% restock fee.

In case there is a defect in the product, our team will do a quality check to ensure the same. If a defect is found, the cost of the product along with the shipping charges will be refunded.

Here are the list of issues not considered defects :
* The small knots or bumps in threads you often see occur when broken threads are pieced together. This is not considered a defect.
* The uneven threads connecting the border to the body are not considered defects.
* Slubs – residual threads bundled together in tiny knots.
* Minute gaps in and around motifs.
* Dye ‘bleeding’ onto the pallu from the body – this is common in powerloom sarees.
* Loose threads in Bandhani sarees used for the tying and dyeing.
* Color mismatch – colors are subjective, we understand. We try to best capture the most truest colors of the saree. Despite that, due to individual device settings, the colors may appear different on different devices. Hence, it is advisable you check with our team if you are doubtful regarding the color of a product.

These are considered defects:
* Tear in the saree
* Incorrect length (instead of what was stated),
* Missing blouse piece (if mentioned that the saree has a blouse piece)

Handloom Products

Sometimes, you may look at a saree and wonder at the odd raised thread, or a pattern that ends abruptly, or maybe the seemingly ‘loose’ threads that seem to be attaching the border with the body. However, these imperfections and little inconsistencies are the hallmarks of a handloom/handmade product.

There are no specific methods to categorize if a weaving inconsistency is a defect or not. However, by and large, the below points come under weaving inconsistencies of a handloom saree and are NOT considered defects:

  • The small knots or bumps in threads you often see occur when broken threads are pieced together. This is not considered a defect.
  • The uneven threads connecting the border to the body are not considered defects.
  • Slubs – residual threads bundled together in tiny knots.
  • Minute gaps in and around motifs
  • The dyed threads sometimes run over the pallu with Zari threads, which looks like the color has ‘bled’ from the body to the pallu. Rest assured, it is the powerloom working with a dyed thread that often gets added to the pallu, and is not considered a defect.
  • In sarees that have Bandhani patterns, often the loose threads that were used to tie portions of the saree for the tie-and-dye designs inadvertently get stuck to the saree. But not to worry! These threads can be carefully cut out without any damage to the saree.
  • Colors can be a tricky topic too. We state the colors of the saree based on the color of the threads used on the warp and weft. But when two different hues come together, it may happen that they mix to become an entirely different color when seen on our website.

A good example is brown and red coming together to look like maroon when photographed. We take great pains to ensure you get what you see, but in case the users device is has its own monitor/display settings, the colors may look different. THE RETURN/EXCHANGE PROCESS

You can return the item for a store credit or exchange for same or higher priced product.

If you’d like to return a product, send us an email at support@rangvarsha.in with your concern within 3 days of receipt of the product.

Once we confirm that you would like to go ahead with the return, ship the products back to us within 7 days of receipt of the order. If you have any concerns regarding the duration or nature of return, feel free to email us.

The following items can’t be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Custom or personalized orders that have been stitched/woven for specified sizes.
  • Sarees for which blouse has been stitched as per the customer’s measurements.
  • Discounted Items/Items bought during Sale.
    These include products shopped during a site-wide sale, and/or other discounts. This does not apply to products which have been shopped using an Affiliates’ discount coupon or Initial Sign-up discount.

Cancellation Process :

  • Pre-shipment cancellation is only allowed.
  • You can raise a cancellation request with your order number clearly stated – by sending an email to suppport@rangvarsha.in. Mention the reason of email and order number in the Subject Line of the email, within 24 hour of placing the order.
  • Cancellation will be accepted only for the non-ready to ship products.
  • Order once moved for procurement CANNOT be cancelled.
  • In case, you have cancelled an order within 24 hours of placing it or before it has been moved to procurement – you will be issued refund within 10 days of cancellation of order. 3% Payment Gateway charges will be deducted from refund.
  • Order once shipped from our warehouse CANNOT be cancelled, but if you are unsatisfied with your order upon delivery, you can raise a Return request.
  • Orders cancelled post 24 hours of confirmation are dealt with on a case-to-case basis by our Customer Care team depending on the degree of process completion. We provide the refund for all such orders in the form of a RangVarsha Coins only within 3 to 4 Days. These Coins is redeemable on RangVarsha website as 1 Coins = INR 1 .

Please note : 

  • RangVarsha cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs to the saree/dress/accessories/furnishing after purchase due to rain, overuse, stains, incorrect cleaning and care, and other normal wear and tear. 
  • If you have requested falls and peco, and/or saree tassling/ blouse detachment services to your purchased sari, Exchanges are not permitted. 
  • All products bought at SALE/DEAL PRICE are not eligible for Exchange.
  • For any Paid Order cancellations done by the customer, a “3% PAYMENT GTEWAY” charge will be levied and has to be borne by the customer.
